Today /Film (slashfilm) posted a great photo from the set of the upcoming live-action Dragon Ball film, which recently wrapped. Apparently the picture has to do with baby Goku's landing in his Saiyan spacepod. In other news, the Dragon Ball sequel will go into production in late 2009, just a few months after the release of Dragon Ball in Summer '09. There is a trilogy planned. Geez, trilogy's seem to be the big thing in fashion nowadays... We even got a new Terminator trilogy coming. What's next, another Bad News Bears trilogy?

Hmmm, that's actually kind of a cool screenshot. I have to say though, I'm still disappointed that they are going with Dragonball and not DBZ. Regardless, I'm surprised we're getting this anime treatment at all. Hopefully they do a decent job with it. Now the question is: Will the sequel be another Dragonball story, or Dragonball Z?
