Witchblade Movie is Cumming... er... Coming!

I've known about this for a few months, but Top Cow has officially announced today that the live-action movie for their Witchblade comic book series is officially in the first to middle stages of pre-production. Ooohh.... we'll finally get to see the lovely Ms. Pezzini on the big screen. The story won't diverge from the previous live-action Witchblade TV series or the anime series currently running on IFC. Yancy Butler isn't involved so far and is not expected to return to the role, so expect a new female to don the Withcblade as Sara Pezzini. More on this as it develops.

Banjo-Kazooie : Nuts & Bolts

Today two screenshots of the 3rd upcoming installment in Rare's Banjo-Kazooie franchise have been release on the web. Apparently, Microsoft is currently working on a motion-sensor controller similar to the Wiimote for use with the Xbox 360. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts for the Xbox 360 will be one of the first of many titles to demonstrate it's use by controlling the vehicles in the game with it. Below are the first unveiled screenshots, both featuring a vehicle. Check back tomorrow for an updated report on Rare's official unveiling of the game. In the meantime, enjoy!

A PG-13 Terminator!?

It's been recently announced that the next installment in the Terminator franchise would be taking a PG-13 approach in order to draw in a larger audience. OK, they did the same with Die Hard and that didn't turn out bad, in my opinion. I'm a huge Terminator fan, and I'm honestly not too worried about this. I mean, Sarah Connor Chronicles is quite a dark and violent television show with a great story, great characters and hardly any cursing. So, I can see a PG-13 Terminator still being very good. Terminator 3 was rated R and is by far the weakest story out of the entire series. Arnold's Terminator character was too much of a "prophet" as opposed to just simply saying, "Come with me if you want to live." There was no emotional connection to his and John's character besides what John remembered from the previous T-800 protector/father figure and that was a major weak point for fans. I'm glad that this new installment will focus on a young Kyle Reese as I've always wanted to know more about his character's past.

Stars and Stripes! McConaughey as Cap!?

Apparently Matthew McConaughey is one of the guys being talked to about portraying Steve Rogers aka Captain America in the upcoming "The First Avenger: Captain America". OK, I really don't know how to feel about this. I haven't seen any of Matthew McConaughey's movies all the way through. But, I have to admit that he's got the look. Just cut his hair and give him a shave and he'll be ready to don the the shield. But, the acting coming from McConaughey's end is my only concern. "The First Avenger: Captain America" is set to be released on May 6th, 2011 just before the upcoming Avengers flick.

Chatwin Only Playing Teenage Goku?

Word recently hit that James Marsters is signed on for two more sequels as Piccolo. But, what about our hero played by Justin Chatwin? Apparently, Justin Chatwin has only signed on for this first installment in the live-action Dragon Ball movie series, with another actor taking the reins as adult Son Goku. Chatwin will play Goku at the age of 18. Goku is 23 when the second half of Dragon Ball begins (aka Dragon Ball Z), so we can probably suspect somebody older and more built to be chosen for the second installment. Teen Goku
