Change. Yes, We Can.

I've never been one for politics at all. I've always been too confused or too caught up in my own little fantasy world full of video games and movies to truly ever give a crap. And I wasn't seeing change whenever anything happened. I'm 22 and am a black man. I have a father who is 83 years old and a mother who is 63. I have not seen the things that they have seen in their life and this has been a long road coming. For the first time in my life, I was both inspired and moved to tears. He gave the most powerful speech I have ever heard in my entire life. Some might debate Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech, but this is a new time and a new era with new ears to hear. I wasn't around for way back when, but I am around now. I couldn't be more proud to be not only a black man in America, but an American. I am with you every step of the way President Obama, as are so many more of us. It's been a long road just to get here and we have many more obstacles standing in our way. But, I believe that we can get there. Together. Change: yes, we can.

Coming Back Soon...

Hey guys! I've been planning to make a comeback, but I've been on hiatus for a while concentrating on college and trying new things. However, I miss this old site of mine and it's time for it to shine again. I believe I can now balance out this and my other activities. And a way to make it fresh for both you and myself is to start doing podcasts. Look for them in the upcoming weeks.

Jake The Sn... Er... I Mean Prince of Persia

OK, so far they've gotten the look of The Prince well done. Now, I'm looking forward to some pictures of the lovely Miss Arterton as Tamina (basically Farrah with a different name). I'll be keeping you posted. But, in the meantime enjoy the first pics of Jake in garb as The Prince courtesy of Just Jared.

G4 Adds Old-School G4 Block! Awesome sauce!!

Say what you will about modern day G4. But, you can't deny that old G4 was just plain awesome. I used to wake up everyday in high school just to watch this channel in all its now deceased glory. Attack of the Show and X-Play are still OK, but I would trade them in a heartbeat for G4TV.com (the show) and The Screen Savers. Unfortunately, old-school G4 met its demise back in 2004. But, somebody at G4 has just shown that they actually aren't completely full of shit and money and decided to add G4 Rewind to the modern-day G4 morning block. For those of you who have never heard of G4 Rewind, it started out as a website dedicated to the glory days of G4, which included all of the shows that have since been canceled and the list continues to grow as it has been and still is a long journey digging up all of the old footage. So far, they've shown old episodes of G4TV.com, Cinematech, and X-Play from 2003. It's funny to see people discuss how awesome they think Halo 2 is going to be and how innovative Eternal Darkness is when we're already almost a year past Halo 3 and Silicon Knights is now finally getting Too Human out for release. I love nostalgia and if you're of the like, then check it out on G4, channel 191 for Dish Network users, from 8AM-11AM Central and 9Am-12AM Pacific. Have fun!

UPDATE: I can't believe I actually had even a bit of faith in this coming out alright. OK, the one good thing is that they're still showing re-runs of Game Makers (originally called Icons). But, they're showing old episodes of Cheat! with Kristin Holt. WTF!?!? I'm not one who trades my games in, but I'm sure that those who do are not very interested in the game strategies being shown, which date back as far as 2004, offically making the games almost ancient compared to where we are now. I guess they're just doing it for nostalgia. I mean, like I said, it's really cool to see G4TV.com again, but it isn't exactly something I need to see. Come on G4, it's time for another reformation to focus on games and tech again.

Show Uwe Some Love!

I've only seen a couple of Uwe Boll's movies, including BloodRayne and House of the Dead. While those movies certainly weren't Academy Award-winning material, they were cheesy-fun entertainment. I think most people take Uwe's movies way too seriously, which is why he has so many haters out there. Dude, even Uwe doesn't take his movies seriously. It seems like everybody nowadays is forgetting that going to the movies is all about having fun with audio-visual entertainment that will keep you involved in the story that's being told. And remember, he's not exactly getting strong material to work with, since a majority of his movies are based on interactive entertainment. He says that all his internet threats, raves, and rants on the internet are merely used as a type of neo-marketing to get you to go see his movies out of curiosity for what all the fuss is about. Below is a recent interview with Uwe Boll and the guys and gals over at LoadingReadyRun.com. I think you might be a little surprised at just how intelligent the guy really is. Enjoy!

Terminator Salvation Concept Art

In collaboration with it's beginning of principal photography, the official site for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins opened up with its first post from director McG and the film's first official piece of concept art. McG had a few things to say about the plot, his praise for his talented cast, and his admiration of the franchise of which he himself is a fan of. For more information, you can visit the official website for the movie at:
